Welcoming a New Senior Designer

Meet Megan Gruppo, our new Senior in Tahoe!

For the last 17 years Megan has worked on projects ranging from high-end residential to hospitality. Her work can be found in some of the country’s most desirable destinations, including Palm Beach, Greenwich, New York City, the Hamptons, Vail, Aspen and Napa.

“I believe in highly hands-on and collaborative processes, working closely with architects, artisans, and craftsmen to shape spaces that feel layered, personal, and timeless.”

Megan holds a B.A. in Interior Architecture from the University of California, Davis. She is NCIDQ certified and holds a license in Interior Design from the Nevada State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design.

Rubicon - Lake Tahoe

This recently revitalized 3,895-square-foot home in Tahoma, California, showcases the transformative impact of thoughtful interior design. Originally built in 2015, the home's natural materials—including 10-foot pine ceilings with walnut trim and hickory wood floors—were reimagined by HSH Interiors into a cohesive, character-driven retreat full of color and pattern. We're excited to share that this project is now featured in Tahoe Quarterly's Best of Tahoe 2026 issue!

Fawnridge - Marin

A comprehensive remodel of a 1980's rancher home located in Marin County, Fawnridge is inspired by the client's love of walnut wood, mid-century design and relaxed Sea Ranch vibes. HSH Interiors adapted the layout of this family home for a young family expecting their first child. Moving the kitchen to a new location in the home allows it to enjoy the panoramic views over the valley beyond, and directly connect to the dining and living areas. Bespoke walnut floors, ceilings, and Artesia cabinets mix with a symphony of blues and greens in the Heath and Fireclay tiles used throughout. Walls finished in limewash provide a textural backdrop to the fun mid-century patterns and colors throughout. Set to complete the Phase 1 remodel in Summer 2026.

Trinity - Lake Tahoe

A complete remodel of an older Lake Tahoe home, Trinity refers both to the street and the client's trio of adorable daughters. Removing a wall from the great room opened up the floor plan to the views of the lake and created the bright, open floor plan the clients desired. New white oak flooring and ceiling cladding, along with new oak millwork, brighten the space, while pops of French blue, forest greens and deep blues permeate the tiles and furnishings. A new kitchen features a cozy corner banquette and a dedicated coffee/cocktail bar area. Across four bedrooms and a bunk room, modern plaids recur in unexpected color and pattern combinations. Set to complete in Summer 2026.

Columbia - San Mateo

A full remodel of a primary suite, Columbia reflects the client's desires for a warm, soft color palette of violets and neutrals. The dated bedroom and bathroom will be upgraded with golden veined marbles, deep violet cabinetry, and new millwork throughout for more practical and beautiful storage. Philip Jeffries grass cloth wallpaper, a bespoke bed and bench complete the bedroom. Set to complete in Summer 2026.
